The Fair Trade o "Fair Trade". is an alternative trade initiative created to pay fair prices for products produced. Fair trade seeks to provide stable and fair wages to workers in developing countries, offering them better working conditions and helping them to organize themselves.1.
Positive impacts of Fair Trade
- Increase in the income of certified plantation workers' families and this increase in income is mostly used to improve the quality of life of these families.2.
- Increased job satisfaction, driven not only by higher wages, but also by permanent employment contracts, training opportunities, health care, paid leave, and the formation of labor unions.3.
